The Dutch Horticulture and Propagation Materials Top Sector ( Topsector Tuinbouw & Uitgangsmaterialen , T&U ) invites enterpriser who want to develop an innovative idea , solution or concept that demonstrably contributes to the further development of remote-controlled processes in horticulture to compete for the Top Sector T&U Innovation Prize .
mechanisation and robotics are becoming increasingly important within the horticultural sector . By further automating cultivation , harvesting , grading and publicity in the nursery , open field , spill and/or vertical farm , horticulture can take giant measure forward towards the realisation of efficient cultivation techniques , labour savings , a uninterrupted business organisation process and a step-down in the use of harvest protection agentive role .
The Innovation Prize is for entrepreneurs ( former level , beginning - ups , musical scale - ups ) with forward-looking engineering that contribute to sustainability and/or circularity at the same time . PrizeThe winning team will receive a voucher deserving 25,000 euros for the further development of their root or construct and/or the resolve of constriction in quislingism with the TU Delft AgTech Institute , professors and scholarly person .
