Alyonushka and IvanushkaLong ago in old Russia , there live an orphan missy name Alyonushka and her little brother , Ivanushka . One day , they set off together to see the wide human beings and find some work . On and on they went , the sun glint brightly and they became thirsty , but there was no well in great deal .
They had been walk for many hours when they came upon a cow ’s hoof print filled with water . “ May I drink from it , Alyonushka ? ” Ivanushka necessitate his sister .
“ No , or you will turn into a calfskin , ” Alyonushka told him . Ivanushka was very thirsty but he obeyed .
They walked on and on . It was so hot they soon felt very athirst , indeed . Then they add up upon a horse ’s hoof print filled with water system and Ivanushka said , “ May I drink out of the hoof mark , Alyonushka ? ”
“ No , ” she enunciate . “ If you do , you will turn into a foal . ” Ivanushka sighed and they walk on again .

“ No ! ” she said . “ If you do , you will turn into a child . ” But Ivanushka did n’t mind to his baby . He fell behind and drink out of the goat ’s hoof mark . And the present moment he did , he turned into a little white laughingstock .
Alyonushka called her brother and the little goat came running to her side . Alyonushka burst into tears . She sit sobbing on the ground while the little goat skipped around her .
At that minute a merchant gamble to ride by . “ What are you cry for , pretty miss ? ” he asked . Alyonushka evidence him .
Said the merchant , “ wed me , and the petty goat shall live in our place . ”
Alyonushka thought it over and agreed to conjoin the merchandiser . They lived most happily . The little laughingstock lived with them and corrode and drank with Alyonushka out of the same cupful .

She spoke sweet and lured Alyonushka to the riverbank , where she fall upon the girl . She tied a weighty stone around her neck and shoved Alyonushka into the water . After that , she take on Alyonushka ’s figure and not even the merchant guessed who she was .
Only Ivanushka knew what happened to his sister . The little goat mope around about and would n’t advert intellectual nourishment or drink . He never leave the riverside and standing at the water ’s edge , he called :
“ Sister , dear Alyonushka ! Swim out , swim out to me . ”
The evil sorceress overheard him and vowed that the small goat must die . “ Have the goat killed , ” she said to the merchant . “ I ’m tired of him . ”
The merchant felt up no-count for the little Capricorn the Goat . He knew how much his wife had loved him , but the sorceress nagged at him to stamp out the goat until he collapse in at last .
When Ivanushka pick up he had n’t retentive to live , he begged the merchant to allow him go to the river for one last drink of water system . Ivanushka festinate to the riverbank and cried out :
“ Alyonushka , drown out to me ! ardour are kindled , piddle is boil , I am pass to die . ”
Alyonushka could do nothing ! She called from the river bottom :
“ Ivanushka , dear Ivanushka ! I can not descend to you . A grave endocarp presses down on me . silky weeds entangle my leg . ”
When the fervour was live and the weewee was boiling , the sorceress sent a servant to get the small Capricorn . The servant went to the riverbank and heard Ivanushka cry out to Alyonushka and see her answer . The retainer run home and told the merchandiser what he overheard .
The merchant race to the river and dove in . He found Alyonushka and film the stone from around her neck .
The little stooge was furious with joy . He was so happy to see his sister that he turned three somersaults and was changed back into a little male child !
The merchandiser sent the evil sorceress far , far off , and the merchandiser , Alyonushka and Ivanushka lived happily ever after .
