There have been instances of lost chance and misplacement of resource due to Government indecisiveness and bureaucratic red tape in the past . Yet the Agriculture sector in this rural area continues to sustain the bulk of our 10 million plus people who live off the country .
He tell , " farming is still our rubber internet and a sustainer of our economy . Our body politic is blessed with all the instinctive resourcefulness , but our social and economic indicators show otherwise that we are still sputter . We do not even have a welfare system in spot for our citizens despite all the minelaying and LNG projects coming on . "
Mr. Aganisafa say he is concerned about the burgeon unemployment rate and wild labor that continuously range the street of the towns and cities daily . " They are now becoming a concern and a burden on guild . We are now complaining about social , law , and social club issues in our society . Who do we blame for all of these societal ills ? "
" Our people now do not want to work on the land anymore . They need free education , they need the administration and their elect leaders to pay for hauskrai , brideprice , compensation , and they are drop a line alphabetic character and marriage offer after marriage proposal . In their bags and bilums are lot of yellow envelope that they are promising will rush an intercession . We have created a " Cargo Cult " multiplication and mentality , and that is detrimental to the well - being and advance of our country . We must now withstand our leadership , preceding and present responsible and accountable . "
He enjoin , " members of Parliament have all the resources park at their disposal at the provincial and district level to plan interventions through their Ward Development Committees to create opportunities for their people and arrest the high employment pace and rural urban drift . They had access to constitutional and non - inherent grants such as PSIP , DSIP , and Covid assistance computer software to Agriculture , SMEs , etc . But they have failed in their province and do not deserve to be re - elect . "
Mr. Aganisafa appealed to the people and eligible voters throughout the country to inspect all candidate , including current MPs and political party , and vote for those with genuine intentions and a policy focus on Agriculture . " The days of grandstanding and political rhetoric on Agricultural are over . "
