Enjoying early summer in British Columbia

Out in my garden the other day I noticed a bee enjoying my prize delphinium(Delphinium elatum , geographical zone 3–8 ) . The plant is over 6 feet grandiloquent and covered in the most gorgeous indigoblue flowers . I ran for the camera , and the bee posed for me in just the perfect patch .
