The stem are creamy with arresting green marking , often displaying beautiful nicety of pink . They are typically 7 - angled , initially spherical , becoming columnar with historic period , and can produce up to 5 inches ( 12.5 curium ) tall and 1.4 inches ( 3.5 cm ) in diam .
