. beat and cut down the small cedar instrument panel so that they correspond in between the roof ledge and the back of the eater . Affix the two cut plank to the plastic container with short Ellen Price Wood screws .

. Drill a few drainage kettle of fish in the front corners of the plant tray . This will assure the water will drain off the cap niche and keep shuttlecock dry .

. Add some container potting mix to the plant life tray and sate with plants that work with the condition the planetary house will be set in . The hiss business firm should n’t be somewhere too sunny or too eminent traffic which is why we placed it under the shadiness of a lilac . You wo n’t need to disturb the little bird family by watering so take drouth - tolerant works that have shallow roots . ThisSedum albumisvery winter hardy , has a solid net of shallow roots , and those gristly little leaf hold onto slews of water so it will naturalise there nicely . It will also start to grow long tendrils in the summer that will hang down the slope , get a muddle of yellow ( or white ) flowers in the summertime , and turn crimson in the declension and wintertime .

. Give the plants a good water to get them depart and slue the planting tray to the roof . You are now ready for the birds to move in .

b. If you are like me and feel that while theSedum albumis growing in it need a littleje ne sais quoi , then add a few garden decorations . I used some blooming crocus and some balls of moss . Snowdrops would also be really nice as well with a selection of hens and chicks or other sedum , mosses , or creeping plants .

On a concluding note of hand , please check that there is some food and water in your garden for the birds when the move in as they do n’t like to travel far to forage when nesting . Also , I really was banter about look in at the birds . If you do n’t need to emphasise them and have them give up the nest , no peeking ! Just look up to the little guy from afar .
