The Organization ’s Work
PMG has been building a solid repute in the community of interests since our introduction in 1989 . The organization ’s body of work has always reflected the egress of the solar day . In recent long time , as the association has raise and as environmental and societal concerns have bear upon both global and local communities , PMG has broadened its undertaking to call these issue more directly , within the scope of its horticultural education mission .
The endeavor get ahead impulse in a September 2019 case calledThe Future of our Landscapes in a Changing Environment , reserve in Charlottesville ’s Paramount Theater , to celebrate PMG ’s 30thanniversary . potent community turnout for an excellent environmental program provided impetus to assess PMG ’s direction and consider newfangled initiative .
In February 2020 , a participative platform at a monthly appendage meeting demonstrated member support for increased emphasis on sustainable horticulture and food insecurity matter while working to diversify our consultation and membership and reach underserved areas of the community .

Sustainability
