Nipponese junipers ( Juniperus procumbens‘Nana ’ , USDA Hardiness Zones 3 - 9 ) line each side of the stream ( they hang up over expectant rocks that define the edge of this watercourse ) . The flow itself leads to a lower basin . This photo was take from a low arcuate Nipponese - style wooden bridge . From here the visitant flummox an inviting coup d’oeil of the basin but must take the air around to see the full view , an old landscape technique to dig the guest onward . ” Beautiful !
