Today ’s picture are from Gary Billard in Cape Breton , Nova Scotia , Canada . Gary says,“This is the Japanese Garden that I installed this Spring . I start out garden about 10 long time ago when I moved back home to Cape Breton Island to assist in the care of my senesce parent ( both now 83 ) .
“ I make up one’s mind to establish a Nipponese - panache garden on the property as I felt it would be very peaceful and fit the environ exist lily-white true pine . There are two ponds with a flow between . The ponds contain goldfish , shubunkin , and koi . The fish hatch in the upper pool and migrated through the current to the fresh pond under the Japanese bridgework .
“ I currently have 15 Nipponese Maples and over 100 Hostas . I am also able-bodied to grow aGunnera manicata(zone 8) here in zone 6 . I designed the Nipponese gate and bridge from years of drop dead through books , magazine , and internet search . I built both with the assistance of my Dad .

“ I designed the ponds and installed them with the assistance of my dear gardening admirer , Sharon , Pat and Michelle . Both pool hold in red and white water lily surrounded by Japanese iris of various colors . ”
So great , Gary ! Thanks so much for communion .
