allow ’s finish off the week today by revisit Sheila Schultz ’s Denver garden , this time taking a peek at her container . She says,“I’m pretty passionate about gardening in the earth , but that ca n’t hold a candle to my beloved for designing container garden . Every year my containers give me the opportunity to reinvent the look of our back and front yards . A simple change of color creates a whole new feel to our place . What ’s not to roll in the hay about that ?
“ I use annuals , perennials , tropicals , edibles … whatever strikes my fancy , but I ’m particularly dotty about using succulents and cacti in many of the container I design . In my prejudiced opinion , there are very few plant that can equalize the play of a beautiful century plant … and pencil cactus , do n’t even get me started , I could n’t know without that plant ! ( In subject you are wondering what I do with my succulents and cacti in the winter , our upstairs becomes ‘ The Little Shop of Horrors ’ ! )
“ Most of the containers I ’m let in today are from our cheery back terrace and deck , but there are two pic from the front . Next to the shaded front stoup , there is a very tedious brick wall . I had tried all sorts of things to bring interest , but nothing made that wall special until I discovered Woolley Pockets . They are easy to found , made from recycled charge plate and I think they make a statement . I typically apply like colors when planting both the Woolley ’s and the trio of containers on the nearby stoop . The overall effect tends to make a visual impact . ”

As arresting as always , Sheila . Thank you for share-out ! And have a great weekend , everyone ! Hint—-spend it taking pictures of your garden … ..
