Finding a mathematical product that can put the nascent Rwandan floriculture on the map . For many days now , François Nsenga , of Ninaf Ltd is looking for such a product and he found it ; the Egyptian paper rush . “ It is growing wild and abundant in the Nile Valley and among many other possible exercise , papyrus can be used as a ornamental item , both indoor and out-of-door , fresh or dried , and in all macrocosm climates ” , he says . For the last 5 long time , this product developer is test various direction to add value to this plant and he is now look for a market to put it on .

More care for logisticsHis first attempt was in 2016 , when he shipped around 500kgs stems of this plant to the auction in FloraHolland . However , five days before the stems would be exhibited at the vendue level , they were all dumped as they did not survive the long journeying . " The test was a unsuccessful person due to an collection of problems . It start off well , but the stems of the flowers could not be flown directly to Schiphol - they had to go through Brussels first . And at the auction bridge , the agent did not fix them right away after they were meet . So when enter the box several day later , they had grow yellowish … All in all , it became clean-cut that the bottleneck was the logistics . "

Different valuesEven though the trials failed , Mr. Nsenga continue convinced that there might be , there is a potential market for the papyrus base and blossoming . Only , right attention require to be paid to logistics . For this cause and as Nsenga powerfully conceive that there is a global potency for this product , he adjudicate to continue and not be discouraged by the failed initial visitation . “ Since then , I begin to develop different decorative products and concepts , with fresh , and dried , and dye papyrus , for both indoor and out-of-door , usable in all world climates . ”
He created a dehydrated solution . Illustrated in the photo are his different construct thus far , on the unlike kinds of a possible offer that can be done , out of dried component part of this abundant and yet not at all utilized imagination ! “ medallion being one among the many prompt and comfortable uses that paper rush can be offered for , I do hope that further to such enough focal point directed to it , its many other likely value will be seek after . ”
Still hope for impertinent paper plant tooHowever , he still has eminent hopes for the fresh papyrus . “ I still consider in impertinent papyrus heads : always unripened when sassy ; hypothesis of customers proceeding with the drying and the dyeing process themselves , in their own home premises ; finally supplied in unlike stem distance , and mayhap their ' hair ' trimmed in unlike shapes , etc . They can be export to wherever customers like to have them throughout the world ; the trick being just for me to take extra care in conditioning and quick logistics . ”

Searching for a niche marketAs Mr. Nsenga is confident about the potential of the product , he is look for a market recession for this production and the intact nascent Rwandan floriculture .
