Blooms of the Canadian summer
Today we ’re in Sweaburg , Ontario , visiting Alice Fleurkens and her beautiful garden . We ’ve been here before ; crack out some previous posts : highlighting from an Ontario GardenandFall to wintertime
This beautifulclematis , growing here behind thesmooth hydrangea(Hydrangea arborescens , Zone 3–9 ) is likely an previous variety . I ’ve already prompt it once and will have to move it again because right now we can hardly see it . But the neighbour can see it this year since it has grown over the fencing and into the tree !
mass ofCalibrachoa(annual ) looking as passably as can be .

This clematis was a gift from a friend ’s garden about one and a one-half years ago . It looks like it is felicitous where it is . I have no idea of the name .
ADiabolo ® ninebark(Physocarupus opulifolius‘Diabolo ’ , Zones 3–7 ) . This variety is esteem for its dark leave , but the peak display is reasonably courteous too .
This yr it was hard to get bedding plants ; however , I was prosperous to find someAmaranthus‘Early Splendor ’ ( annual ) . These plants were very small and wretched looking , but I am hoping the splendor they foretell is add up . The first sojourn reserve to the garden nerve centre was outdoors only , but I wanted some rock to finish this border , which was halfway done , so it was my favourable Clarence Day to find some .

This pot was given to me by a supporter , and a bottom infract off , so now the crapper itself is just pose in the flowerbed .
The prettythreadleaf coreopsis(Coreopsis verticillata , Zones 4–9 ) bring in a bully show ofyellowflowers every class .
This pic features white nicotiana(Nicotianaalata , annual),coral bells(Heucherahybrid , Zones 5–9 ) , tranquil hydrangea , and a endearing shrub rose of which I do n’t know the name .
