Forget the birds , this odoriferous little mushroom tree is for the gnomes ! I made this miniature tree with glass mushroom-shaped cloud , an outside coniferous tree , and a plant pot made out of a diminutive pail . It is meant to be hold outside in the garden with the garden gnomes .

Make it !
If your Sir Herbert Beerbohm Tree is go to be celebrate outdoors like mine , then the first footprint is to make some drainage in the plant pot . I ’ve used atiny white metal bucketsold as a set of three . It was buy from a nuptials supply shop class as it ’s meant as a wedding favor . It is also a unadulterated plant pot to fit a small one - inch nursery pot !
Add drainage to the pot by using a hammer and nail to simply poke some fix into the bottom of the pot . I did three holes to verify that there was plenty of drainage in my showery winter climate . Then put the plastic nursery pot inside the white bucket and your tree is quick to be ornament .

decorate the gnome Christmas tree is as simple as decorate a regular Christmas tree diagram . Well , in fact , it ’s much easy because this tree diagram is teeny - lilliputian .
First , wind up a length of red-faced and white baker ’s twine around the tree . Then add together the mushroom-shaped cloud ornaments by using the pivot attached to the bottom of the mushroom-shaped cloud and pushing it through the tree .
adjust the miniature tree out in the garden ( see the rest of my play garden here ) so that the garden gnomes have something festive for the holiday time of year .

While this mushroom tree is the everlasting size to go along with garden gnomes , I have to take I did n’t actually have any garden gnome ! Thinking quickly , I made a few with sprig and a little bit of paint . And I came up with a bright way of making the pointy hats ( If I do say so myself ) . you may see how to make these twiggy gnomes inthis spot .
