As the morning time get lightsome my mind is turn once again to thoughts of arise my own . Each morning the first thing I do after getting out of layer is gaze , bleary - eyed , out of the windowpane . Directly below are the raised bed in which we grow vegetable . During the wintertime I ’m never at home base during daylight hours so I give up trying to cultivate anything that needs raise or harvesting after October or before February . By now , apart from a few windswept herbs , the beds are empty and beg to be repopulated with vital young veggies .
A span of weeks ago I received a tweet from Pippa Greenwood asking if I would serve distribute the word about her fresh range of ring armor order vegetable plants . Now I do n’t ordinarily do this kind of affair but a ) this was Pippa Greenwood asking , and b ) it sounded like a darn good idea to me . I settle to message Pippa back and find out more .
Here ’s the deal :

As an urban nurseryman with treasured little time on my hands I am instantly sold on the idea of garden - ready plant life being hand over direct to my door . Whilst in my heart I ’d always prefer to arise my vegetables from seed , I ’m often thwarted by locomotion and work commitments . And when I do get around to sowing , I either end up with far more plants than I demand or straggly seedlings that bear an poor upbringing on my kitchen windowsill .
What , therefore , could be better than relying on an expert to provide just the right amount of hefty vegetable plants at on the nose the time I am ready to look after them ?
A pick of 4 different crop costs £ 29 ; 6 , £ 39 and 10 can be yours for £ 65 . Compared to buying seeds this might sound expensive , but when you factor in in the time , energy and space ask to nourish vegetables from seed to seedling , I think the outlay is somewhat sensible . I for one will be giving Pippa ’s plants a endeavor . Pippa has very kindly offered me a gift voucher , which I will be accept in social club to offer a comprehensive , unbiased follow-up later in 2017 . What will I fatten up for ? tomato for sure , even though I ’ll be growing some from seminal fluid as well , and climbing Gallic beans . We enjoyed a great harvest of pea last year , so Sugarsnap ‘ Delikett ’ for certain appeal , as does the compounding of Sweet white pepper ‘ Redskin ’ and Chilli ‘ Etna ’ . I just trust we have a nice hot summer to serve them crop well .
