I ’ve never hear them called frilly pants before but will call them that from now on ! They are wonderful in other masses ’s gardens and the “ pink snow ” that falls when they send away their flower petal can be wizard . Here they are often institute as street tree and drive through a pink snow storm can be a kickshaw . They ’re very disease prostrate here so I ’d never embed one in my own small garden but I have a dainty borrowed view of one from my neighbor ’s garden .
One of these trees is planted flat across the street from me , and conceive me , it ’s an melioration over the usual things I see in that neighbor ’s front yard — namely every manner of truck and car sit on the front lawn . It ’s beautiful for a while !
Our next room access neighbour has a ‘ frilly knicker Sir Herbert Beerbohm Tree ’ which is wear a high visibility vest at the instant . I can see it as soon as I reach the blinds in the morning . There are not much too face at after the blossoms vanish until they show some attractive foliage colour in autumn . What would you plant there if you could chop it down tomorrow ?

Everyone involve at least one over - the - top fluffy , frilly personality like that in the garden , do n’t they ? – at least as long as the pink foam does n’t overstay its welcome . It makes me think of a little girl in the neighborhood I grew up in who ALWAYS wore pink because , as she proudly told anyone who ask , she “ look good in pink . ” My female parent always referred to her as “ Donna I - look - beneficial - in - pinko ” and , to this daytime , I ca n’t think of her by any other name .
OK , so a big huge tree full of frilly knickers is a snatch much , but in shrub shape it ’s cute . My Flowering Almond looks like frilly knickers , too , but it ’s much little . I seem to remember take in Pleione formosana orchids during one of my trip south – either at an orchid show or at a botanical garden . Lovely specimen .
I love your names for this tree diagram , ha , ha :) It may be a nuisance to you , but those blooms are gorgeous !
